What is Ascendants:-

First house of Horoscope is known as Ascendant (The Centre Box of the top row is first house) the top . In other words, the rising Zodiac on eastern horizon, at the time of Birth of a child his known as Ascendant and it plays a foundaton role on the personality of natve. Such as any person born in Aries Zodiac, Then what ever may be the planetory position the native will have the basic structure and style as per Aries Zodiac. As Jewel decorates the Golden ring, similarly the Placement and effect of other planets effects the structure and the style of the native.

The basic structure of Aries is as follows :-

The Persons, born under Aries Ascendant are usually possess a lean and muscular body, middle stature, neither thick nor stout, a ruddy complexion, a long face and neck, broad head at the temples and narrow at the chin. They usually have thin features, with a mark or scar on the head or temples, bushy eye brows, rough or wiry hair varying in color from dark to sandy, sometimes going bald, and often some skin problem.

Now other planets will effect this ascendant in following manner, and you will be able to learn it in following lessons of planets. If Saturn is placed in that Ascendant then the native will have very good height, if Mars is placed in 7th house then the native will have short height. but the quality of his body and structure will be very much in tune with Aries Quality.
